ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ENGLISH 9K GOLD PEARL HAIR LOCKET MOURNING RING c1820
An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) mourning ring, with a trifurcated shank leading to a glass locket holding an old hair memento surrounded by pearls.
A very collectible & wearable Georgian mourning ring!
CONDITION
: Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Faint abrasions to glass and natural discolouring to pearls. Old solder repair to shank, one shoulder strand a little loose – easily secured.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1820. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 12 mm wide (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
RING SIZE
: O or 71/2  US (not easily resized).
WEIGHT
: Approx. 4.0 grams.
